TEACHER DRESS AND GROOMING REGULATIONS

       Mature, professional and appropriate dress is expected of all teachers.  Industrial Arts and Physical Education teachers will dress appropriate to classes in session.  Hair style for the male teacher is to be neat and said hair style is to present a professional appearance.  Neatly trimmed beards may be worn.

         Neckties for male teachers, except Principals, are not required.  Pants of a style appropriate to a professional teacher may be worn be female teachers; this or any other type of apparel should present an appearance appropriate to the classroom.  Dresses, skirts and skorts must not exceed two (2) inches above the knee.  The wearing of blue denim jeans should not be permitted except for occasional “Spirit Days.” 

       Principals are to acquaint their teachers with the above dress and grooming regulations at the first faculty meeting of the school session and at subsequent meetings.
