Requirements for High School Graduation:

In order to graduate, seniors must pass all sections of the Graduation Exit Exam (LEAP TEST).  The English/Language Arts and Mathematics components of the exam will be administered in the 10th grade.  The Science and Social Studies components will be administered in the 11th grade.  Make-up tests will be given accordingly.

      BEGINNING IN 2006-07 INCOMING FRESHMEN WILL NEED 25 CREDITS TO GRADUATE FROM ST. MARY PARISH.

Classification Requirements:
Freshman            0 - 5.5 credits
Sophomore          6 - 11.5 credits
Junior                  12-17.5 credits
Senior                  18 or more credits

Students must complete the following Carnegie Units in order to graduate:

English 4 Units
Math 3 Units
Science 3 Units
Social Studies 3 Units
Health & PE 1 1/2 Units
Comprehensive Health 1/2 Unit
Electives 8 Units
Total Units 23
